Dr. Aki Shirakura
Dr. Aki Shirakura attended University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine and also completed three additional intense years in Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Center at University of Rochester. He is currently a faculty member at NYU Langone Lutheran Medical Center.
Dr. Shirakura has extensive experience in restoring and replacing teeth. He is a surgically trained prosthodontist who specializes in complex restorative treatment and full-mouth reconstruction. His 15-year experience as a dental technician in Tokyo and New York further gives him a unique perspective on what he does and how he helps his patients achieve truly beautiful, healthy smiles.
He is well-versed in the latest digital technology and techniques in restorative dentistry and is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized care to restore esthetics, function, and health.
